Choose Your Caribbean Vacation Island at the Bahamas

From the pirates of yore to the Caribbean all-inclusive vacations paradise seekers of today, the Bahamas has always been the destination for sea and sun, fun and sand.

All around the Bahamas, there are many islands and hotels offering Caribbean vacations. Visitors can just basically choose the island they want to go diving, snorkeling, or just lounging around.

The busiest islands are New Providence Island (where the capital Nassau is), Paradise Island (home of the humongous Atlantis casino resort) and Bimini (also known as the gateway to the Bahamas). Other paradise islands in the Bahamas are San Salvador, Cat Island, Long Island, Harbour Island, Eleuthera, Andros and Abacos Cays.

In some islands, you need to be a passenger of the cruise line that owns it in order to enjoy the beaches and activities on it. These private islands are Castaway Cay (owned by Disney Cruise Line), Great Stirrup Cay (owned by Norwegian Cruise Line), Little Stirrup Cay (owned by Princess Cruise Line), and Coco Cay (owned by Royal Caribbean).

There are hundreds of hotels to choose from, many of which have Caribbean all-inclusive vacations and packages. A few examples are Riu Paradise Island, Sandals Royal Bahamian and Club Med Columbus Isle.

Caribbean all-inclusive vacations start as you get in by plain via the airports at Nassau and Freeport, or by boat through cruise ships or private yacht. Shopping here is so easy since the Bahamian dollar is linked with the US dollar plus all major credit cards are accepted. You can go anytime of the year but you may want to avoid the peak season of December to April, which has the highest hotel rates, and the hurricane season of June to November. But none the less don't wait with ordering your Caribbean all inclusive vacation.
